    Snowball skippers Fish Hoek
    Derek Harvey

The South Easters are back, summer is on it's way and this of course means that it is the start of cricket season.

There appears to be a new lease of life at Fish Hoek Cricket Club and it's certain that this will translate into great results on the field.

Grant Snowball has been elected as captain of the First X1 with Steven Howell as his vice skipper.

Their enthusiasm is infectious and judging from the amount of work already done, the club is in good hands.

Practices are underway and new players are invited to join in, while members are urged to crawl out of the woodwork and enjoy the game of cricket!

The official season started on Saturday, 1 October, with the first league game set to take place on 8 October at Silverglades.
