    Who will be named champion?

SURF LIFESAVING teams from across the Cape peninsula will be competing for top honours in the annual Baysider.com Pride of the Bay competition on Saturday, 4 February.

The competition will be hosted by the New Balance Fish Hoek Surf Lifesaving Club and is one of the highlights of the surf-lifesaving calendar. Teams from Blaauberg, Clifton, Strand, Llandudno, False Bay and Fish Hoek Surf Lifesaving Clubs will compete in the event.

Spectators can prepare themselves for four hours of non-stop action from 14:00 to 18:00. The event is organised by Fish Hoek Surf's Chris Stephens and runs extremely quickly in order to keep spectators constantly enthralled.

Ten teams of ten competitors each will compete in all the traditional lifesaving challenges, culminating in the enduro, an event in which all ten team members complete a certain discipline.

Everyone is invited to go and support the local boys and girls in action!
