Have you recently "poked" several random people in a matter of minutes?

Have you ever bought yourself a "human pet" or "thrown a sheep" at someone?

Have you written on someone's wall or "tagged" your friends' faces?

If you answer yes to these questions and you haven't heard of Facebook, then you are probably a bit of a pervert; you're a little twisted, a vandal, a bully even. Clearly you have some issues with sheep ? and people.

I advise you to seek professional help immediately!

As for the rest of the population: I am sure most of you have no doubt by now joined the millions out there who are members of one of the fastest-growing social network sites ever: or at the very least you have heard of it.

The brainchild of 19-year-old Harvard student Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook literally exploded into our lives, and, before we knew it, had become a regular part of our conversations and routines.

When it started there were many who said it wouldn?t last, that it would lose its momentum and fade away faster than it arrived, but instead it currently has over 69 million active users worldwide.

According to internet reports, Mark, now 23 years old, is worth an estimated $1,5 billion.

Can you imagine having that much money? Ever, let alone at the age of 23!

I don't know about you but every time I read about guys like that I sit in silence trying to think of some genius thing I can invent to follow in their footsteps.

What I would do to be in their shoes for a day? Their really expensive designer shoes!

The important lesson one should take from this is never to dismiss an idea without really looking into it first.

Remember the guy who rejected those four teenage boys from Britain, saying that no one would buy their records? Don't remember that story?

It happened right before some clever guy signed them and Beatles mania hit the PLANET!

Mark Zuckerberg had an idea, did his research, and was obviously afforded the time and assistance to follow it through. But the fact is that had he not been determined and encouraged, the whole idea probably would never have grown past his dorm room.

It is so important for parents and teachers to encourage creativity in all children from as early on as possible. Children should be allowed the freedom to explore ideas, and they should be encouraged all the way.

Telling your child something cannot be done just because you cannot imagine how to do it is simply not acceptable.

Just think, the next time you decide to tell your child they can't, you could be missing out on an early retirement in the Bahamas ? brought to you by your $1,5 billion child!
