Sparkling wines producer The House of JC Le Roux, in the Devon Valley near Stellenbosch, enjoys a double celebration this year - its 10th anniversary and a revamp.
It also marks the first harvest of winemaker, Elunda Basson, who has joined the company.
Over the past 10 years, The House of JC Le Roux, SA's first dedicated sparkling wine cellar, has become the country's leading sparkling wine producer with its top-selling Le Domaine, La Chanson and Sauvignon Blanc.
The House of JC Le Roux was the first cellar to produce a Pinot Noir as well as the first off-dry Cap Classique, La Vallée.
The new look at The House of JC Le Roux includes a makeover of the main tastingroom, shop and restaurant, and new additions comprise a tasting room and oyster bar.
At the refurbished deli-style restaurant, also known as Tables at JC Le Roux, guests can choose from hot breakfast options to light deli-style lunches.
The House of JC Le Roux is open seven days a week. The restaurant is open from 09:30 to 15:00. For information, call (021) 865-2590 or visit www.jcleroux.co.za.
