One could foresee problems with the waste removal. We are charged as residents R54, 06 per month for refuse removal. I believe that Hlumani are only paid R13,54 of that - where does the rest of the money go? We were happy with the waste removal, and the recycling removal - not so happy when it was on alternate weeks, but happy none-the-less, and the staff at Hlumani have always been very helpful. Now the municipality have decided to "kick" the contractor off site. What gives? Why put all that recycling material back on the waste dumps?
