    Hester Wilken-Palse writes:
On behalf of Be Free Lifestyle Inc, we would like to say a big thank you to all Somerset West restaurants and food stores (Waterstone Village in particular) who generously donated food and beverages upon our request on Saturday.

Officer Shepherd who supervised the firemen, indicated that the firemen were tired and hungry and that any refreshments would be welcome during a telephone enquiry from my side. So with the help of a few ladies from Be Free Lifestyle Inc, we collected the necessary food.

Because of your generosity we could provide pizza's, hamburgers, toasted sandwiches, apples, bananas and energy bars to the hungry firemen on Saturday afternoon. Many of them had been on duty for almost eight hours without eating. According to our knowledge the supplies were sufficient to keep around 100 firemen satisfied through the night.
