    You leave your legacy behind
    250708

JAN MCGILL writes: This is a final wake-up call to all the parents and grandparents who wish to leave a lifelong legacy to their offspring. What legacy you ask? Just remember we are all here as custodians of wherever we choose to live and therefore it is our duty to take care of the place we call home, in this case our legacy which we are responsible for is Somerset West.

At this moment in time Somerset West may well be known as Sleazy Somerset West. Why, you ask?

Then take a look at our once beautiful town which is now decaying under the filth of the daily increase in the vagrants who urinate, wash their linen, cook, defecate and fornicate on our streets, the drug pushers who will, believe you me, never miss a moment's sleep when they take your child's young life and make it hell with their various concoctions, the escalating crime rate, and 18 cars stolen from outside the post office in June.

There are the hawkers, many illegally trading, some also drug pushers, the taxi rank with its occupants driving as if they owned the town, breaking every law on the road, our parks are now bro?thels, drug dens and places for vagrants to sleep - the list is endless. No, don't just take my word for it. Get in your car and drive around any day of the week or evening to see just what I mean...

Are you happy about this state of affairs of our town or do you want to take your town back as we do and make it once again a beautiful safe and decent place to live? It is your choice - so act now before it is too late. Interested in making a difference, then ring Andrew 084 399 8880 or Jan (021) 851-8197.
