Help our children to grow up responsible

My concern is for the children. Who can these children turn to for help? What is being done by the schools, police and our community to educate our children and warn them against the dangers?
There is a childrens act everyone is talking about. How can children exercise these rights if they dont know what they are? Where can they get access to this bill of rights? What can we do to help a child that has no access to a telephone, teacher or adult they can trust?
I appeal to the Round Table to assist in ensuring that every school gets a letterbox where a child in need can at least drop a letter if in need of help. The police can make an effort of informing children of the signs and dangers of drug abuse and their rights. The community can volunteer to assist the schools in reading these letters and helping. We have to do something! Everyone can make a difference by being more alert and giving support to those in need.
Cant the Herald, as a community paper, launch such a program to save our children and encourage other towns to do the same? Can you imagine if every child gets the proper education and love so that they would grow up to be responsible adults and not leave school early and turn to a life of crime or drug abuse.
