SEBOKENG. - The Emfuleni Local Football Association was smiling all the way to the bank after Vaal Milling presented them with a R33 000 cheque recently.

Jorrie Jordan, Vaal Milling's factory manager in Zone 10 Sebokeng, says that the company is more than happy to contribute to local football. "The main thing we want to do is give back to the community," says Jordan, who adds that the company is proud to promote soccer so that young people can stay out of trouble. Phiki Khumalo, chairman of the Emfuleni Local Football Association, says that Vaal Milling has come on board at the right time. "We would like to extend our words of appreciation to Vaal Milling and we hope that this is the start of bigger things to come," says Khumalo.

According to the association's Treasurer, Love Moremi, the association intends to use the sponsored funds for the running of its junior leagues.
