Women of the Cross unite
By Mduduzi Mathebula

SEBOKENG. - In the spirit of Women's Month, the Tabernacle Worship Centre Ministries (TWC) showed that they take women empowerment very seriously as they held a service in Zone 3 on Saturday focusing on helping women realise their destiny and position in life.

The service was packed with glorious women of the cross and all rejoiced in praising God. The event was themed "Breaking the cycle" and Pastor Maxwell Masakona from Limpopo conducted the sermon. He referred to the story of Ester in the Bible and said that when God blesses you, you should embrace the opportunity, just like Ester, an orphan and exile who eventually became queen and liberated her people.

Masakona added that women have the power of influencing others and that they control their families and run their households. Pastor Masokona further encouraged women to aspire to remain positive and be a good influence on their families and community.

Pastor Masakona further says that the strength of a woman won't be realised until she is put to the challenge. "They are also great intercessors and show great compassion," he concluded.
