From 1 May, Asara now offers both local and international guests a taste of five-star luxury accommodation in the heart of the Stellenbosch Winelands. Its various gourmet dining

venues, new wine tasting centre, grand ball room, forthcoming delicatessen as well as a premium kitchen and tableware show?room, are all set to uncork the potential of both local and international tourism markets.

This Stellenbosch estate offers a stylishly decorated 37 bedroomed hotel that includes an impressive presidential suite, a two bed-roomed family suite as well as a unique three-storey honeymoon tower ? a wonderfully romantic way to end off a dream wedding.

The rooms are spread over three separate buildings on the estate, thus maximizing the views of the surrounding mountains, vine?yards and dams.

All the rooms are fully equipped with five-star luxuries including Penhaligon toiletries, flat screen TVs and the finest linen to ensure that your stay is unforgettable.

The three different restaurants, led by internationally experienced French executive chef, Patrick Bischoff, will tempt your taste? buds with a variety of dishes. The main restaurant, Raphael?s, offers classic European style cuisine using the freshest and finest local and imported ingredients. The Bistro & Tapas serves sumptuous bite-sized, Mediterranean style dishes alongside the more rustic bistro fare.

The exclusive fine dining restaurant, opening later this year, will serve the traditional French haute cuisine in a stunning, glass enclosed diningroom allowing guests an exquisite panoramic view of the dam, mountains and vines. Once replete, simply retire to the luxurious Sansibar Lounge for an indulgent handcrafted cigar or a dram of the finest imported whisky whilst you sink into the deep couches and relax until the early hours.

Asara Wine Estate & Hotel has since its inception in 2001 become, according to the renowned John Platter Wine Guide, ?one of the Cape's latest success stories? and the range of award-winning wines created since then has just proved this.

Sample these wines in the new Wine Tasting Centre or in the relaxed atmosphere of the courtyard next to the Asara bell tower.

Later this year, the delicatessen and confectionery with its homemade products such as olive oils and decadent chocolate truffles, will also open its doors. Asara will offer something to satisfy every taste, from its own range of clothing to an exclusive kitchen and tableware show?room.
