Glory Days, the energetic musical hit show, will make you relive the magic of the ’80s musical scene – whether it is the songs of Whitney Houston, Bruce Springsteen, Bryan Adams, U2 or Wham (to mention a few) that make you remember the glory of your (presumably) younger days.

And many a listener will identify with Wally, a computer nerd liv?ing in the eighties who wants to be a rock and roll star like his hero Bruce Springsteen (photo above). Wally is the brain child of Ian Von Memerty, who scripted the show.

From 9 September to 12 October nine singers and musicians will make the stage of The Willowbridge Barnyard Theatre come alive with songs that have often reached the no 1 spot on charts in the ’80s. And more often than not topped the charts for weeks on end.

“It’s Raining Men,” may bring some hope if you’re single, men may enjoy doing some “Dirty Danc?ing”, while – at the end of the show – you may say that you’ve enjoyed an evening of “Old Time Rock & Roll”.

Instruments to be heard during the show include the pennywhistle, saxophone, drumming, keyboard, trumpet and, of course, the guitar, including a bass guitar.
