    Rooibos tea helps garden

IF you are busy landscaping your herb garden, take some rooibos tea and mix it into the soil. You will find your plants really thriving in all the added goodness contained in the “rooibos”. Not only that, but our little snail friends do not like the “rooibos” dust – so if you dry some out and sprinkle on the surface of the garden, they tend to run away – it works like tobacco dust.

Rooibos tea is a great mulch for the soil, improving drainage and helping plants grow.

It is very strange that South African rooibos tea is being marketed in drinks and other products by other countries, notably Japan.
