A MEETING to provide local business owners with more information about the Western Cape government's BEE implementation strategy is to take place at the Ocean View Hotel on June 24.
The meeting will take place from 08:00 to 14:00 and is sponsored by the provincial department of Economic Development and Tourism.
There is no charge to attend.
According to the department, all businesses with a turnover in excess of R5-million need to understand that BEE is "not just about ownership of the company (and giving away parts of your company is not a requirement), but that implementation of any or all of the six other elements of the BEE Codes can be of major benefit as you wish to grow your business".
