BUSINESS owners are able to practice their golf and support an initiative aimed at helping people unable to cope with their debt by signing up for a golf tournament to take place at the Fairview Golf Estate in Gordon's Bay on June 29.

The organiser of the event is You and Your Money, a non-government, non-profit organisation that has been established to break the cycle of debilitating household debt.

It has been in existence since 2001 and provides debt counselling and financial life-skills training. You and Your Money hopes to raise funds for its activities through the golf day.

The competition format will be a four-ball Single Stableford. Entries are charged at R150 per person.

Entry money includes a halfway house treat. Prizes will also be awarded at the end of the day. Companies are also welcome to donate prizes for the event.
