CONSTRUCTION of a new access-controlled complex in Hibiscus Road, Gordon's Bay, has been completed, according to property marketer Multi-Projects.

La Bella is situated a few hundred metres away from the Pick 'n Pay shopping centre and the Harbour Island small boat harbour and marina.

It comprises 198 units with braais and covered parking, and the complex includes a large swimming pool with facilities.

A rental company has been established at La Bella to focus "on the growing need for tourism-related accommodation in the area," says company MD Monté Jordaan.

"We believe that this market offers huge potential." La Bella allows investors to offer units on daily furnished rentals, for holiday accommodation. Full house-keeping, check-in, administration and other support services (including tax advice and administration) are provided. Owners receive monthly statements and payments, and a full maintenance service is also part of the package offered by Multi-Projects' property management division.

Housekeeping
"Should the owner wish to use their unit for themselves on occasion, they just need to call the central reservation number 24 hours in advance.

Owners will also be able to use the housekeeping and support services at a fee. A hotel grading will be given to all of the units that are let out on this basis, which will ensure that standards are maintained."

Jordaan says that there are 10 units for sale in La Bella, and some available on the daily accommodation option, starting from R559 000 for a 54 m² one-bedroom apartment.
