The seventh annual Sekunjalo Edujazz Concert presented by The Sekunjalo Investment Group will once again fill the Baxter Theatre with the inimitable sounds of local jazz on Sunday, December 2 at 19:00.

The line-up for the evening is headed by the popular Darryl Andrews Jazz Band, a 13-piece powerhouse Latin/Funk ensemble with the only six-horn-band in South Africa and featuring some of this country's hottest emerging and established musicians. The programme also showcases the dynamic young talent of the Little Giants and Kopano, the Muizenberg High School jazz band.

The Sekunjalo Edujazz Concert is held annually to raise funds for education bursaries aimed at helping students at more than 60 schools from economically disadvantaged communities in the Western Cape. Over the years it has seen young music students from primary school through to tertiary level share the stage with established top local jazz bands like Virtual Jazz Reality, Tucan Tucan and Galumphing. Tickets are R60.
