Cape Classic, an initiative of Gabi Zahn, a German cultural journalist, presents an annual music festival which consists of vocal and instrumental chamber music.

This year sees the fourth Cape Classic taking place in the Western Cape with some shows in and around the Helderberg. Cape Classic is proud to announce the string quartet of the famous Bamberger Sym-phony Orchestra, Szabolcs Zempléni (Horn of the Bamberger Symphony Orchestra), Lisa Wedekind (soprano), Konrad Jarnot (baritone), Alex Scmaltz (piano) and Pauliina Tukiainen (piano). Funds raised at the concerts are donated to charitable projects in the Western Cape. Performances are on February 27 at the Fismer Hall, Stellenbosch, February 28 at Oude Libertas, February 29, March 1 and 2 at Vergelegen with more shows at Nederburg and Blaauwklippen.
