Rand Merchant Bank will host the popular, annual Starlight Classics Concert on Vergelegen Wine Farm in Somerset West, on Saturday 15 March and Sunday 16 March.
Join them for an evening of light classics - with a touch of jazz. The programme features highlights from David Kramer's Ghoema, talented saxophonist, Shannon Mowday and Afro-Western dance sensation, Jazzart. This year also marks the debut of the FNB Twenty Tenors, including Starlight favourites, Given Mabena, Nick Nicolaides and Jannie Moolman. Nokrismesi Skota who recently played the role of Papagena in Mozart's Magic Flute and an exciting female trio, Sisters Sentimental will also make an appearance. The Cape Philharmonic Orchestra will accompany this magical Afro-symphonic mix under the creative baton of Richard Cock.
Tickets for Saturday night's concert are R130 for adults and R110 for pensioners and children. Sunday night's concert prices are R120 for adults and R100 for pensioners and children. The ticket price charged for Saturday night's concert, secures a "rain check" option for Monday 17 March, weather permitting. There is no "rain check" option for Sunday night. All concerts will start at 19:00.
