Oratorio festival

The Cape Philharmonic Orchestra is presenting an oratorio festival from March 30 to April 13 in the Groote Kerk in Cape Town. Choirs and soloists will perform with the orchestra in three concerts on Sunday afternoons at 16:00. On March 30 the New Apostolic Church Choir and Golda Schultz, Sipho Fubesi and Musawenkosi Ngqungwana perform Beethoven's Egmont Overture. On April 6, the Cape Town Symphony Choir, organist Grant Brasler and soloists Pretty Yende and Thato Mothona per-form under conductor Alexander Fokkens.
