THE Helderberg Sunrise Rotary Club are the hosts of an evening of the arts on Wednesday, April 16, in aid of developing new artists from disadvantaged communities.

Diamond Diva with Aviva Pelham will be staged at the Artscape Opera House and also features the Voice of the National Ensemble, Cape Town City Ballet, the Cape Town Male Voice Choir, Dance for All, the South African Circle of Dance Academy, Jazzatack, the Amy Biehl Foundation Singers and the Herzlia Vocal Ensemble. All of the proceeds of the concert will go towards the "Voice of Rotary" Bursary. In 2007 a total of R100 000 was raised to start this bursary with the goal to assist promising music students.

Tickets for Diamond Diva are available from Computicket or from Bev du Plessis and are priced at R100 or R150 per person.

Nominal charge
Should you require tickets, the club are prepared to collect them on your behalf from Computicket and deliver them to you between 08:30 and 16:30, providing you are in the Somerset West, Strand and Gordon's Bay area.

Buses will run from Somerset West on the evening concerned for a nominal charge of R50 per person.
