THE MAYOR of Cape Town, Helen Zille, has not forgotten her promise made a year ago at a meeting of the Village Action Group! Her office has confirmed her annual commitment to keep in touch with Gordon's Bay.

All residents are invited to attend a cheese-and-wine lunch with Mayor Zille at the Boat Angling Club at Harbour Island in Gordon's Bay on Saturday, May 24 at 11:30. This will be an opportunity for residents to air their views and ask questions.

Questions and comments
To enable this VIP guest to answer as many questions as possible within the given time constraints, residents are asked to let the Gordon's Bay Village action group have their questions and comments by no later than May 14.

These will be forwarded to her for comment. Questions can be sent by e-mail to the Village Action Group, at vag@travelcollections.co.za.

To facilitate luncheon arrangements, it is important to phone for your ticket to attend this very important occasion. Tickets cost R40 and drinks are R15 per glass.
