    Salim learn valuable lesson

After the Sharpshooters' dismal performance last week, the knives were out for them in this game. They did not disappoint. Goals by Hans “Eagle” Philani, Rudolph “Drogba” Jones and Hendrik “The Base” Makatong of Salim United gave the team a commanding lead.

Shining Stars scored before halftime (3-1). After the break the team from Bredasdorp were kicking the ball to all ends of the field, while Salim were defending for dear life. The visistors scored two more goals (3-3) which threw the cat amongst the pigeons.

Salim seemed to have woken up after that, but with time running out, they had to settle for the share of the points. The lesson for the team to take out the match is pretty simple: play for 90 minutes.
