A woman who was on her way home in Zwelihle at about 01:30 on Saturday morning was grabbed by a knife-wielding male who first threatened to hurt her and then proceeded to rape her.

The woman managed to get away and look for help afterwards.

The Hermanus SAPS are investigating a case of rape and are appealing to any member of the public who can assist them to contact the investigating officer, detective Insp Edmund Abels at 028-313 7014.
