Kumba Iron Ore's Sishen mine workers in the Northern Cape on Wednesday joined their Gauteng Gold One counterparts in the wildcat strike that's crippling the mining sector. Analysts say more than 75 000 workers (approximately 15 percent of the total workforce) are on strike in the platinum and gold mining sector.
