Johannesburg - Seven men robbed a Pep clothing store in Mokopane of an undisclosed amount of money and cellular phones on Friday morning, said Limpopo police.
Superintendent Malesela Ledwaba said the men, two of them with guns, entered the store at 08:30, held the staff and clients at gunpoint and demanded money.
He said: "They overpowered the manager and forced him to give them money. They then took cellphones from the safe and from clients, and fled the scene."
No one was injured during the incident. A search was now on for the men, who were all wearing denim pants and black T-shirts.
Ledwaba said: "We are appealing to anyone with information concerning the incident to contact inspector Malesela Kekana on 072 292 7180."
