Johannesburg - The slaughter of rhino in KwaZulu-Natal's wildlife reserves continues unabated with another de-horned white rhino carcass being found at Ezemvelo's Hluhluwe-Umfolozi game reserve, the Witness newspaper reported on Monday.
The latest discovery brings to 14 the number of rhinos killed in the province this year alone.
Ezemvelo Wildlife spokesperson Jeff Gaisford confirmed the incident, but said he had no detailed information.
It is believed the rhino collapsed from an injured leg after a fight with another rhino, and it was captured and de-horned.
