Shark attack report at Fish Hoek

Cape Town - The NSRI is investigating reports of a fatal shark attack at Fish Hoek beach near Cape Town.

Twitter users have posted reports of a shark attack at Fish Hoek, after a shark warning was issued on Tuesday morning.

"Holy shit, we just saw a GIGANTIC shark eat what looked like a person right in front of our house in fishhoek. Unbelievable," wrote Twitter user skabenga.

Despite reports of an ambulance at the scene, the NSRI said there was no confirmation of a shark attack and that no reports of missing persons had yet been received.
