Sony to launch 4 new phones

Stockholm - Sony Ericsson said on Thursday it was launching four new handsets, the T270 and T280, two classic pocket-sized phones and the R300 Radio and R306 Radio, aimed at emerging markets.
The T280 has a 1.3 megapixel camera and FM radio while the T270 is aimed at business users.
The T270 and T280 will be available in selected markets from 1Q 2008. The T270i and T280i are GSM/GPRS 900/1800 phones and the T270a T280a are GSM/GPRS 850/1900 phones.
The new Sony Ericsson R300 Radio and R306 Radio cellphones are designed for emerging markets such as India.
The R306 Radio opens up into a clamshell with two integrated stereo speakers that face the listener. Both phones feature Bluetooth(TM) technology.
The R300 Radio has a built-in VGA camera and the R306 Radio has a step-up to a 1.3 megapixel camera.
The R300 Radio is a GSM/GPRS 900/1800/1900 phone that will be available in selected markets from 2Q 2008. The R300a Radio is a GSM/GPRS 850/1800/1900 phone, available in the same timeframe.
