Amor waits for Joost to pop the question

Oudtshoorn - "He has not yet asked me officially, but I ask him every night," says a giggling, very-much-in-love Lotto presenter Amor Vittone with Springbok scrumhalf Joost van der Westhuizen at her side on Monday after her first show at the Klein Karoo National Kunstefees (KKNK).
"He keeps on saying he'll ask me once I stop asking. But at this stage, nothing is official."
The lovebirds arrived on Monday afternoon for Amor's first show at the festival on the Radio Sonder Grense stage. Later, she appeared on the ATKV stage sporting No 9 on her chest.
Joost, who came to give her moral support, admits that she is "a very sexy sight on stage". "She always asks my opinion about what she should wear on stage. It was great seeing how much she enjoyed it. She has an aim in life and that is to reach the top."
Joost emphasises that he and Amor have no regrets about their actions.
"We are enjoying the festival - but are looking forward to the three days after all of this when Amor and I will take a break of three days at a place near Plettenberg Bay.
"It's the first time we will be able to go off on our own. Almost like a 'get to know each other' party of three days," he says with a slight blush.
While Amor is talking to Radio Helderberg next door, blowing kisses every so often, he tells of the chemistry between them.
"Stars are sparkling in my eyes, and she brings out the best in me. She's always so positive. We are great friends and never fight. You just know when something is right."
At this moment, Amor waves through the window. "Hullo. I love you," she croons over the radio.
When the smile finally fades from his face, he leans over. "I have never believed in soul mates. But now I truly believe in soul mates. She brings out the best in me - I'm the Joost of old once again."
Joost reminds Amor of her dad
Amor emerges wearing an itsy-bitsy orange T-shirt and gives Joost a smacking kiss. "You just know when something is right," she says. "Joost and I are similar. We are the best of pals... I'll start saying something and he'll finish the sentence for me.
"And, do you know, my mother always said she would have to take me down from the shelf to dust me," she says. "I fall in and out of love quickly. You meet so many guys - but with Joost it just happened.
"It is as if a magnet draws us together. And wow, it's weird - he reminds me so much of my dad.
Responding to a question whether she feels a bit like Lady Di, Amor says she believes people want to see the two of them together. "They want to see celebrities with celebrities. You get one and get one free."
Joost and Amor declined to pose for a photograph together. "We have been on covers for weeks on end. Our relationship is special at this stage. Is it so difficult to grant someone a bit of happiness?"
Joost promised that "once the dust has settled a bit" both of them would pose together to everyone's heart's content.
