Johannesburg - Deputy ANC president Jacob Zuma on Friday morning accused the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) of trying to deny him his constitutional rights.
"I'm determined to resist any attempt...by the NPA... to snare such freedoms." he said.
"I believe that the NPA is driven by inappropriate motives..." he said during a press conference broadcast live by eTV.
"Why was there so much passion and urgency to take me to court when there was clearly no evidence?", he asked.
He also denied ever accepting any money for favours I-Net Bridge reported.
At a news conference two days after corruption charges against him were struck off the court role, Zuma was asked by a journalist whether he had accepted any money for favours.
"No, I haven't," he responded.
