CANSA South Coast is always thankful to receive pony- tail donations which are used to make wigs for cancer survivors who have lost their hair due to chemotherapy treatment.

“Anouk Oostindie is a visitor from Holland and worked as a volunteer at Bobbi Bear in Amanzimntoti for the past three months. She wanted to do something special for a cancer patient before leaving to go back home to Holland and decided that she would like to cut her long hair and donate her ponytail to Cansa South Coast,” said Cansa volunteer, Sharon-Ann Theron.

“We wish her a safe trip home and Cansa South Coast thanks her for her wonderful and thoughtful donation, and also for thinking of others desperately in need of upliftment and encouragement while undergoing treatment,” said Theron.

Anyone wanting to donate hair to Cansa South Coast can contact Sharon-Ann and Errol Theron on 083 312 5360. - Supplied
