High tea likely to be a hit

2015-09-16 06:00

AFRICA CARES is calling on the community to support its fund-raising initiative, Tea with Claire, on 17 September.

Share an elegant and an enlightening occasion with Claire - psychologist, speaker, trainer, coach and hat lover. It is an occasion for fine china, correctly made tea, dainty eats and stimulating conversation.

The topic is “To thine own self be true – the confident you” - learn how to be assertive without being aggressive - expressing your opinions, needs and desires with confidence.

The topic includes “speak up for yourself, keep the peace without being taken advantage of and how to say no to pushy people”.

Claire’s arrival is scheduled for 9.30am and the talk starts at 10am. The venue is Audacia Manor, 11 Sir Arthur Road, Morningside, Durban. The cost is R150 per person, and includes the high tea and talk. Africa Cares will receive a R60 donation.

Booking is essential and payment can be done via EFT.

To book, go to www.clairenewton.co.za/twc17sept, select individual or group registration and enter the coupon code.
