AMANZIMTOTI Trauma Unit (ATU) ran the tea garden at Umdoni Bird Park on Wednesday to raise funds for the organisation.

The organisation focuses on a variety of issues concerning our community, such as crisis intervention, preventative programmes and awareness campaigns. Services provided by ATU include counselling, family therapy focussing on conflict resolution, safe house or accommodation for victims of domestic violence and practical support.

Offering tea, coffee and scones, the weekly Wednesday tea garden has become popular. Residents of the Jona Vaughan Home use the opportunity to have an outing and enjoy ATU-sponsored tea and scones.
