KAMALINEE Primary and the Kamalinee Women’s Committee celebrated Mandela Day by observing 67 minutes of community service at the Dawood Kader Crèche in Malakazi.

Kamalinee principal, J. Naidoo, committee members and teachers treated the children to breakfast, snacks, treats, gifts, toys and entertainment. Each pupil was personally fed by the teachers, KWC members and volunteers.

“We are extremely grateful to Mrs. Dawood Kader and her team for allowing us the opportunity to make a small difference in the lives of these children. “As an institution we commend her for her sterling efforts in the upliftment of the community and for providing a safe and comfortable haven for these children to grow and progress,” said Naidoo. - Supplied
