Pedestrian killed in crash

2015-10-28 06:00

A MAN died in a pedestrian accident on the N2 north near the Doonside off-ramp, on Wednesday at around 2.30pm.
A report from bystanders indicate that the man ran across the road when heavy wind blew his hat onto the road and he ran to get it and landed in front of a vehicle travelling towards Durban.

“Netcare 911 and the provincial paramedics found the man lying in a lateral position in the fast lane. He had died before our arrival due to the extensive injuries he sustained,” said Chris Botha, Netcare 911, media liaison officer reported. - Supplied.
