THE eThekwini Municipality hosted its annual reading promotion competition at the Amanzimtoti Civic Hall recently. The event was attended by schools from the Durban South area.

Gokul Primary School was placed second in the drama category. The item highlighted environmental awareness in the community and suggested ways of maintaining a clean community through involvement by all stakeholders. Their presentation was well received by the audience and adjudicators alike, and was a culmination of many days of practice, including weekends, by the pupils and teachers. - Supplied
