KUSWAG Skool het onlangs ’n spelkompetisie gehou ten bate van die Wolf Army wat hulle beywer vir die beskerming en hervestiging van roofdiere en veral wolwe (canis lupis) in Suid-Afrika.

“Ons spits ons tans toe op die swartrug jakkals en rooikatte in SA,” sê Vincent Kennard.

Die Wolf Army onder leiding van Vincent Kennard het die kinders vermaak en ingelig oor die ekosisteem en die belang van roofdiere.

Kuswag Skool se leerders het met die spelkompetisie ’n bedrag van R13 000 ingesamel vir die projekte. Die algehele wenners was Vincent Viljoen in Graad 4 en Maryna Badenhorst in Graad 6.

Hulle het pragtige geborduurde Wolf Army T-hemde ontvang as prys. Die leerders wat die meeste geld ingesamel het per graadgroep was Eben de Witt, Graad 4, Jessica Pittout, Graad 5, Caylan Dunn, Graad 6 en Anisha Hoffman Graad 7. Hulle het elkeen ’n pet gekry van die Wolf Army.
