CANSA – ‘Purple Toilet’ initiative

The CANSA fund-raiser is supported by ASC - rugby, soccer, cricket, squash, baseball and dog clubs.

Matter of fact

AN article published in the Fever last week in the column from Amanzimtoti Sports Centre had the incorrect amount donated to Bobbi Bear by the dog club. The article stated that the dog club donated R50, the correct amount donated to Bobbi Bear was R500. The error is regretted and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Toti United FC

Toti United Football Club (TUFC) finished the season in a very respectable fifth position.

Despite some setbacks and the loss of a number of our star players, the team pulled together and managed to finish off the season in style.

The boys can definitely be proud of the fifth place finish after their first season in the DCFA premier league, hopefully we can build on this position next year and challenge for the title.

Toti trail run

The Toti trail run takes place on Friday 11 November. This is a fund-raising initiative by the Amanzimtoti Sports Club to improve facilities at the club and bring the Toti and surrounding communities together.

The run starts at 6pm at the Amanzimtoti Sports Club and finishes at the centre as well.

Adults pre-paid entry fees are R80 for the eight kilometre route and R40 for the four kilometre route. U16 pre-paid entries are R60 for the eight kilometre and R30 for four kilometre. Pre-entries close on 10 November.

Race day entries cost an extra R20. Race day registration takes place at Amanzimtoti Sports Club from 4.30pm to 6pm.

Car monitors in the park

ASC, in an effort to empower the car monitors that work at the park, as well as increase security and visibility have purchased uniforms, etc., for them.

Please help us by only supporting these monitors

dressed in the blue and black so that other car guards wanting to operate in the area go away.

Please pass this message on to all club and family members and anybody who uses the facilities at the park.

CCPO and Blue Security are the first point of contact for any incidents in the park and remain ASC and Lords Security Providers.
