LEADING global retailer, H&M (Hennes and Mauritz (Pty. Ltd), known for fashion and quality at the best price in a sustainable way, just opened its store at the Galleria Mall, the first H&M store in the KwaZulu-Natal region.

More than 1 500 customers queued from early Saturday morning to have a first look at the store and to get their hands on the great opening deals.

The two-level store spreads for more than 2 500sqm and offers apparel, underwear, sportswear and accessories for ladies, men, teenagers and children.

Durban-born celebrity, Nomzamo Mbatha, made a special appearance at the opening and hosted an exclusive shopping spree with some of her social media fans before cutting the ribbon.

“What an extraordinary welcome,” says Pär Darj, H&M SA country manager.

“The customers in KwaZulu-Natal have been asking for an H&M store and here we are, ready to bring them a wide variety of quality fashion items at really good prices.”

Store trading times will be from 9am to 7pm, Mondays to Saturdays, and 9am to 5pm on Sundays and public holidays.

H&M looks forward to opening its next store at Menlyn Mall in Pretoria on 24 November and at East Rand Mall in Johannesburg on 3 December.
