A SENIOR citizen was attacked in his home by armed men in Kingsburgh last week.

According to Amanzimtoti SAPS, the victim Neville Anderson (60), was attacked in his bedroom by three unknown men with knives.

“Suspects gained entry through his bedroom window by shattering it with a storm-drain cover,” said SAPS spokesperson Captain Charlene van der Spuy.

“When he got out of his bed to investigate, they were already entering through the window, and a struggle occurred.”

During the struggle Anderson was stabbed multiple times.

The victim was transported to hospital by the paramedics where he was admitted for treatment.

The suspects fled with two laptops, two cellphones, one Tablet and a wallet with an unknown amount of cash.
