KHANYA Hospice received another five-litre bottle of coins and notes from Alan Callister, of Buccaneers Pub and Grill in Warner Beach

“This is a good start for 2016, our sincere thanks to Alan. This bottle is kept in the pub on the counter and patrons, family and friends donate to the worthy cause and the work that Hospice does,” McDonald said.

Buccaneers challenges any pub and grill or restaurant to match or better their donation.

“A big thank you to all who so kindly contributed and donated. Hospice has three shops where people can donate new and/or second-hand clothes, bric-a-brac, furniture, cutlery, crockery or what-have-you-to-give-away. These items are put up for sale and helps sustain the free nursing care that Hospice offers people with life-threatening diseases, and support to their families,” McDonald added.

Hospice can be contacted on 039 973 0277/1783, 083 597 8985 or hospice@scottnet.co.za - Supplied.
