Ekuphileni Primary School will be running an IT project launched by the Gauteng-based NGO, Mentec Foundation as from 28 January. Ten laptops were presented to the school by Mentec CEO, Solly Khoza and stakeholder manager, Sarah Nintendo.

Teachers, pupils and the community will benefit greatly from this multifaceted and lucrative initiative. Besides computer literacy, among other things, this project will also offer motivation and confidence workshops for educators, life skills workshops for pupils, learnerships and co-operatives training for unemployed youth.

The project was launched on 1 February at the school. By the end of this multifaceted project, the school will have been transformed and developed in terms of teacher and pupil performance. - Supplied.
