NGO needs volunteers

THE Amanzimtoti Trauma Unit (ATU) is an NGO that assists abused women and provides counselling for traumatised victims.

It is looking for volunteers for crisis debriefing.
The volunteers will be responsible for reducing anxiety of people at the incident­ and/or accident scene and referring­ the victims to the ATU.

The candidate must be able to communicate fluently in Zulu or English and Afrikaans, preferably be 30 years of age and have their own transport.

Basic counselling skills will be an advantage.

Benefits of volunteering at the ATU is that debriefing training will be provided, experience will be added on the individual's CV, exposure to the operations of NGOs and serving the community.
