THE 2016 Lifesaving Association of KZN South Hypersure Nipper competition was held at Scottburgh Lifesaving Club on Sunday, 24 January.

Nippers between the ages of nine and 14 competed in surf and beach events. Lwazi Mnguni from Fast Track, contemplating the surf in the boys U14 Iron Nipper and surf events and was placed second. He attended the lifesaving championships with his team manager, Ndumiso Hlongwane.

Lwazi is the only nipper in Fast Track Surf Lifesaving Club. He attended the nippers test at Scottburgh on 6 December, 2015, and passed. He's been training with Fast Track Surf Lifesaving Club junior and senior lifeguards at Umgababa beach.
