WARNADOONE Nippers held their Open Day on August 27.

It was a great morning with new and old faces trying their best.

Free hotdogs were given to the young participants and parents and coaches got involved in the parents, coaches and children’s relay at the end of the wonderful day.

The club would like to thank the children for participating, parents for volunteering here and there, sponsors as well and coaches.

Sapphire Coast Tourism was proudly flying the flags in support of the event.

It’s all about promoting our lovely coastline and its safe swimming beaches and without professional lifeguards and the nippers, this would not be possible.

The club invites children seven to 14 to learn about the sea, run, swim and compete in a safe environment.

Children and parents are most welcome to get involved every Friday from 5pm to 6 pm and Sunday from 8.15am to 10.45am.

It’s not too late to join as new members are always welcome.
