PENNINGTON Hospice charity shop staff commemorated Breast Cancer Awareness Month and World Hospice Palliative Care Day in October.
Pink is the colour associated with the fight against cancer and Khanya Hospice is launching, in conjunction with Rotary, the Pink Drive from now until end of December, which entails wrapping trees whether in front of your house, or office, church or business.
Material can be bought for R100 for five metres from Hospice.
People are invited to browse around in the Pennington Hospice shop and experience first-hand the warm and friendly atmosphere.
Volunteer Vivian Hollander says it is a pleasure to shop at the store.
For more information, call Hospice on 083 597 8985, Aneska on 083 255 2588, Toti Rotary) or email hospice@scottnet.co.za
