Revenue Call Centre extends hours

TO enhance their customer care service and ensure customer convenience, eThekwini Municipality’s Revenue Call Centre has extended its operating times until further notice.
Call centre operators will be available to answer any consolidated bills queries.
The call centre can be reached on 031 324 5000 at the following times from Monday 22 August:
Monday – Friday 7.30am – 6.30pm (previously 7.30am – 4.30pm)
Saturday – 7.30am - 3pm (previously 7.30am - 11.30am)
Should customers prefer to email or fax their query they may do so on the following contact details:
Email Revline@durban.gov.za or fax on 031 324 5111.
The municipality shall accept payment under the following circumstances:
• cash;
• bank-issued cheque;
• EFT;
• Third party collectors appointed from time to time by the municipality; and
• direct debit payments
Customers whose accounts are in arrears are encouraged to pay at online sites in the municipality’s banking halls.
