IN an initiative driven by The Domino Foundation, eight of Amanzimtoti High School Grade 11 pupils volunteered to make sandwiches for the organisation’s School Sandwich Project.

The project reaches disadvantaged pupils at various schools, providing them with a nutritious sandwich.

The Domino Foundation’s, South Durban volunteer, Cheryl Dann liaises with local schools to identify learners who could benefit from these lunches.

In the short time spent at The Domino Foundation, Amanzimtoti High pupils learnt how they can assist those less fortunate and what it means to have a nutritious meal. They also made 200 sandwiches for distribution.
