SCOTTBURGH High School raised a whopping R32 000 for the CANSA Shavathon, which was held at the school on Friday, February 24.

“Scottburgh High with Pieter van Wyk as the school’s Shavathon co-ordinator have been a great supporter of Shavathon with each year setting the bar higher and higher. CANSA South Coast is grateful for the school’s participation.

“We would like to invite any schools to make as huge of an impact in the fight against cancer and host their own Shavathon and give the office a call on 039 682 7680. Once again well done and thank you Scottburgh High School Shavathon champions,” said CANSA’s Sesethu Senene.

“We had a deal with the kids, for every R1 000 we make we will ride 10 km. So during the long weekend we will be riding 320 km,” Van Wyk said. - Supplied.
